Ready for some Vince McMahon fury? There's a fair bit of it sprinkled throughout these entries, so beware.

On the 1 August 2017 episode of SmackDown, then-rising babyface Shinsuke Nakamura scored a massive win over established WWE meal ticket John Cena. It was a watershed moment for both, and things were made even more special when Cena endorsed Nakamura by raising his arm after the match.

Backstage, McMahon was spitting with rage over one ad-libbed spot in particular. He couldn't believe that Shin and Cena would be so reckless as to call a dangerous exploder suplex in the ring, especially when Cena landed awkwardly on the back of his head and neck from the bump. Lord only knows what else they chucked in there on the fly.

Nakamura appeared to apologise in-ring, but Cena visibly and audibly told him not to be sorry. That shows that these guys were just feeling it out there and doing everything in their power to make the match feel atypical to a regular Cena bout.
