The Match: Finn Bálor's big night was noteworthy for three things. Firstly, he and Seth Rollins worked well together in the main event. Second, Bálor won the new Universal Title, but only got to hold it for around 24 hours before injury robbed him of a proper reign. He had to vacate the thing on Raw the next night.

Why It Sucked: Thirdly, fans at SummerSlam scoffed at WWE's new red 'World Title' belt. There was a gasp when Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley unveiled the thing shortly before Bálor and Rollins went to war for it, and that's all people in Brooklyn's Barclays Center could focus on for the rest of the show.

Chants like, "That looks stupid" sullied an otherwise-fine headliner. In retrospect, it was a bit of an own goal to show off the divisive title pre-match. Thankfully, fans watching at home didn't get nearly as much of the title-hating atmos as those who were there live.
