7. Wade Barrett - Vs Daniel Bryan (SummerSlam 2011)

Though Wade Barrett was unquestionably at the centre of his fair share of memorable moments during his in-ring career, leading the Nexus during their assault on Monday Night Raw and frequently popping the crowd with some 'Bad News', the fierce Brit didn't have as many truly top class one-on-one showings in-between the ropes as you'd think.

Sure, he was part of some excellent multi-man conflicts, but Barrett rarely stole the show when locking horns with one single sparring partner. There was one, largely forgotten, example of the former Nexus leader absolutely delivering the goods in singles competition, however, and it came during a bout with his one-time ally Daniel Bryan.

In the wake of Bryan picking up the victory in that year's SmackDown Money in the Bank match, the two collided at SummerSlam in a last-minute addition to the card. Clearly looking to make a statement on the summer stage, and not deterred by a limp crowd, Barrett provided the perfect, and often violent, foil for D-Bry's explosive offence. He even walked away with the victory, ending the underrated bout with a nasty diving clothesline to a Bryan caught on the top rope and particularly sickening Wasteland.
