Things may have come to a spluttering end for FTR in the closing stages of their WWE careers, but there was a time when the duo were heralded as the greatest thing to happen to the company's tag team scene in years.

Frequently outstanding showings in their many bouts against D.I.Y. in particular eventually led to that compelling programme understandably being the one the duo were best known for. But it was their prior feud with another black and gold unit that put them on the map, and arguably produced one of the finest and underrated TV matches in the brand's history.

Coming after two outrageously brilliant matches at TakeOver: Dallas and The End, a bout against American Alpha on NXT's weekly show raised the bar once again. This time the two teams would put on an unrivalled TV 2-out-of-3 falls clinic. But The Revival specifically raised their game to a whole new level here, coming from behind to retain their NXT Tag Team Championships via stunning closing stretch which saw the two pulverising Chad Gable with a now-Big Rig on the apron.

Honestly, if you haven't already, you owe it to yourself to give this a watch.
