10 Great WWE Feuds That Never Got A One-On-One WrestleMania Match

2. Trish Stratus vs. Lita

Trish Stratus vs. Lita is WWE's go-to example of a historical women's feud.

In that case, it might surprise you to learn that they only had three singles matches on pay-per-view against each other throughout their entire careers.

None of these battles ever took place at WrestleMania. The only time they opposed each other at the biggest show of the year was at 'Mania X8, where they were both challengers in a three-way battle for Jazz's Women's Championship. In one of the botchiest matches you'll ever watch, Jazz pinned Lita to retain.

This would be Lita's one-and-only WrestleMania match for 21 years, which is bonkers.

The former Team Extreme member finally got her sophomore outing at WrestleMania 39 in a six-woman tag team match against Damage CTRL (Bayely, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky). Her teammates were her fellow tag team champion Becky Lynch (remember that reign?) and her old pal Trish Stratus.

Isn't that sweet?

The only 'Big Four' show to feature a Trish vs. Lita singles match was Survivor Series 2004, and that match lasted less than two minutes.

It just doesn't sound right, does it?
