10 Great WWE Raw Matches That Came From Out Of Nowhere
6. The Rock, Cactus Jack, Too Cool & Rikishi Vs. DX & The Radicalz (7.2.00)
What a difference a hot crowd makes, huh? As talented as the ten men in this match are, there's little chance we'd be still be talking about it sixteen years after the fact if it wasn't the absolutely molten audience in Dallas, Texas.
The Radicalz had turned on Cactus Jack earlier in the show and sided with Triple H, setting up a ten-man tag match in the main event. However, Cactus first had to find partners and, if he couldn't, it'd be a 5-on-1 match. This set up an intriguing show-long storyline but Jack had only recruited The Rock before the match started.
As soon as the 5-on-2 began, however, Too Cool ran to even things up for the babyface side and the match was underway. What followed was ten minutes of crisp, non-stop action between characters that were over in front of a crowd who were into everything they did.
It really was great, as you had the Rock/Triple H interactions, the Cactus/Triple H moments and also some interplay between the Radical and Too Cool stables. There was so much story and so much action and they managed to pack it all into a tight ten. Simply fantastic.
Oh, and to top it all off Kane made his return once the match was over and destroyed the heel side as the Reunion Arena rafters shook.
