Like Christian, Edge also had a terrible first reign as world champion. After nine solid months of carting around the Money in the Bank briefcase and the iconic moment where he Speared a bloodied John Cena twice to win the WWE Championship, the ‘Ultimate Opportunist’ lost his title back to the 'Chain Gang Soldier' in less than three weeks.

During his first run, Edge only managed one real highlight, that of course being the live sex show with Lita. Family entertainment at its finest. At a push, you could say a successful title defence against Ric Flair was another highlight, but how many people even remember the match?

As we all know, this wasn’t Edge’s last stint as the company's top dog. Despite a naff first run with the WWE Championship, the ‘Rated-R Superstar’ went on to hold a further 10 world titles over the course of five years and is the only wrestler to ever retire whilst being World Heavyweight Champion. His career had so many highlights, culminating with an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012.

Thankfully, Edge decided not to repeat his disturbing live sexual escapades after his HoF induction.
