The feud between Vince McMahon and 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin was the centrepiece of WWE during the Attitude Era and helped transform the WWF into the company it is today.

Just weeks before WrestleMania XV and with the number one contendership on the line, Austin would face off with his hated boss in a cage at St Valentine's Day Massacre. In one of the last big bouts to take place in the big bar cage, the contest was an absolute classic.

Like most McMahon bouts, the match relies on violence to cover his limited wrestling abilities and starts with the two men brawling on the outside before they've even stepped foot in the cage. The sight of Vince falling and, more specifically, landing on the edge of the announce table is brutal viewing, no matter how many times you've seen it.

With McMahon laid out on a stretcher, Austin wheeled him back to ringside to continue the assault in the cage. The bout came to a shocking conclusion with the debut of the monstrous Paul Wight (AKA Big Show), who had been plying his trade in WCW prior to making the switch.

Bursting through the ring canvas, Wight's defection was shocking, yet ultimately proved fruitful for Austin, as the giant threw the 'Rattlesnake' through the cage to hand him victory.
