The internal logic is something to behold, too - they don’t want to murder each other, there’s nothing so melodramatic as that - they simply want to dominate, to prove to the other that they’re the better man.

Bret snags the win before a post-match rumble which sees the Anvil and Davey Boy get involved. This is a proper Hart fest - of course it’s going to be brilliant. You could have watched these two fight forever, which makes the proceeding few years all the more tragic. We’ll always have this match, though - a genuine five-star classic.
