10 Greatest Champions In Professional Wrestling Today

9. Marty Scurll - ROH World Television Champion

'The Villain' Marty Scurll has taken the Ring of Honor World Television Championship all over the globe. One of the most established names in British pro wrestling, Scurll captured the belt just a few days into his run with his new employer. He did so on ROH's UK tour over fellow countryman Will Ospreay.

Scurll has retained the belt at some of Ring of Honor's biggest shows; Final Battle, 15th Anniversary and Supercard of Honor all saw The Villiain leave victorious. Recently he also accompanied The ELITE on their tour of the UK, bringing the TV Title to Scotland, England and Ireland. Scurll could definitely help to strengthen Ring of Honor's position in the British and Irish markets.

Marty will be a World champion soon, in ROH, PWG or elsewhere, but right now he's making the most of this tidy role. Being ROH's secondary champion means he'll get plenty more opportunities to get over with their fans. Two of those opportunities will be title defences against Matt Sydal and KUSHIDA in the upcoming ROH/NJPW War of the Worlds.

Look out for them in mid-May.
