It should probably come as no surprise that Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar worked so well together. Both Amateur wrestling standouts, the pair created magic on the stage set by Vince McMahon too. Angle was somebody who took to pro wrestling with alarming quickness, within a year becoming a vital part of the then-WWF product. Lesnar was a pet project of the promotion, but he too would become important. The main event of WrestleMania XIX was gifted to Angle and Lesnar. Living up to the name of the event, the tandem produced a rather awesome wrestling match. The finish was marred somewhat by a botched Shooting Star Press from Brock, but that couldn't sully the bout overall. Incredibly, both men were only finding their feet in regards to working with one another. At SummerSlam, they'd produce another epic. That paved the way for the stunning 60-minute Iron Man Match in September, 2003 on Smackdown. This was the apex of the chemistry between both men, because not just any pair of performers can put together a match like they did.
