10 Greatest Displays Of Chemistry In WWE History

9. Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk

Long before either man reached the promised land of WWE, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan had faced off numerous times. In companies such as Ring Of Honor, Punk and Bryan provided excellent alternatives to what was going on in the big time. When they squared off, they were considered amongst the best independent wrestlers on the planet. Moving upwards to WWE, it would have been a crime to avoid booking both men against one another. In 2012, fans would finally get their wish, and the results didn't disappoint. At the Over The Limit Pay-Per-View in May, 2012, Bryan and Punk contested the WWE Championship. Going close to 25 minutes, the duo had one of the best wrestling matches of the entire year, WWE or otherwise. At Money In The Bank, they'd add more story into proceedings. AJ Lee was the centre of a love triangle tale, one which would lead to a great No Disqualification match on the Pay-Per-View in July. Both Punk and Bryan remain atypical of the regular WWE 'Superstar', but that only made their interactions all the more special.
