10 Greatest Female Wrestling Managers Ever

2. Miss Elizabeth

Who will ever forget the image of "Macho Man" Randy Savage lifting Miss Elizabeth onto his shoulder following his WWE Championship victory at WrestleMania IV? It was a seminal moment in both performers' careers and one that resonates with fans to this day. After all, Elizabeth had endured so much of Savage's controlling personality, both on and off-screen, that fans relished the opportunity to see a new Savage and an overcome Elizabeth celebrate the joyous occasion. It was the culmination of a three year journey that saw the beautiful brunette stand by her man when in the good times (when he won the Intercontinental Championship) and the bad (his brutal attack on Ricky Steamboat). Her unwavering loyalty earned her the adoration of the audience. Upon Savage's return to the dark side in 1989, however, Elizabeth had had enough. After enduring his controlling personality and accusations of some underlying feelings for Hulk Hogan, the relationship between she and Savage came to an abrupt end. For nearly two years, she would make appearances at ringside with Hogan and Dusty Rhodes but never worked a full-time schedule. Then, in 1991, she returned to WWE television, reuniting with Savage in one of the most memorable and emotional moments in WWE history at WrestleMania VII.
