10 Greatest Female Wrestling Managers Ever

7. Chyna

For someone originally intended to be a "heater" for Triple H in 1997, Chyna ultimately wound up not only benefiting the former Connecticut aristocrat and future head degenerate, she would go onto become one of the biggest stars of the entire Attitude Era, breaking through into the mainstream and even posing nude for Playboy magazine. As a manager, however, she played a major role in the success of Triple H, D-Generation X and Eddie Guerrero. She was irreplaceable, even if history has been less-than kind to her and her legacy. Whether it is popular opinion or not, it is very likely that Triple H never would have gotten over to the extent that he did had it not been for Chyna. She delivered more heat to the blue blood gimmick than her charge ever could have. There was something about watching a woman beat up a man that incited a heated reaction from the audience that was unparalleled by anything the guys involved in the match itself could produced. As one of the founding members of DX, she continued to get physically involved in matches, ensuring that her guys emerged victoriously. It was not until she paired up with Guerrero that she was allowed to take on the more traditional role as a female manager. She was the love interest of "Latino Heat," the first man to really bring the lady out in Chyna. Sure, she was not opposed to throwing a forearm to the face or adversely affecting Superstars' ability to have children with a brutal low blow, assisting Guerrero to more than one win, but she was much more subdued while paired with the second-generation star.
