10 Greatest Female Wrestling Managers Ever

8. Madusa

When one thinks of Madusa, "manager" is not the first word that comes to mind. A skilled in-ring competitor who starred for Vince McMahon's WWE during the early-to-mid-1990s as Alundra Blayze, she repeatedly proved her ability between the ropes by taking on Japanese stars the likes of Bull Nakano and Aja Kong. But prior to her debut in WWE and attempt to re-establish women's wrestling in the promotion, she was primarily recognized for her role in the Dangerous Alliance and as manager of "Ravishing" Rick Rude in World Championship Wrestling. The Dangerous Alliance was a revolutionary heel stable managed by the dastardly loudmouth Paul E. Dangerously and featuring some of the top veterans of the time, as well as a young star by the name of Steve Austin who may or may not have gone to enjoy some success in the wrestling industry. Usually by the side of Rude more often than not, Madusa was a fairly important piece of the puzzle. Some seven years after her success with the Dangerous Alliance, she again returned to ringside as a manager, this time for young upstart Evan Karagias. This time, however, she used he feminine charms to her advantage, seducing Karagias, who lowered his guard and allowed Madusa to eventually become the first-ever female WCW Cruiserweight champion.
