10 Greatest LGBTQ Fighters In UFC History

7. Nina Ansaroff

After her first four professional fights, Nina Ansaroff was sporting an unspectacular 1-3 record and appeared destined to dwell in obscurity. However, the resilient Florida native would then go on to rattle off five consecutive victories on her way to signing with the UFC.

After getting off to slow 0-2 start with the promotion, Ansaroff would, once again, go on an incredible win streak, which included victories over top-tier fighters like Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger, Angela Hill, Randa Markos, and former title challenger, Claudia Gadelha.

The 3rd-degree black belt in taekwondo has improved considerably since her UFC debut and is now the number 6 ranked strawweight in the world. Having the benefit of training with her fianceé, dual-title holder Amanda Nunes, who also happened to be the best female fighter in the world, has clearly paid a dividend.

If Ansaroff can rack up a couple more wins, she and Nunes have a decent chance of becoming the first couple in UFC history to hold titles simultaneously.
