Michael Cole is such an entrenched part of the WWE wallpaper these days that it seems aeons ago that he was just that scrawny guy in an ill-fitting suit trying to get his frost-tipped head in front of the camera by any means necessary. Cole joined in 1997 as a rookie interviewer who would often get given short shrift by the menacing wrestlers he was tasked with questioning.
One of his first ever interviews was with none other than the 'Excellence of Execution', Bret Hart. Michael Cole met with the 'Hitman' along with the Hart Foundation in preparation of his big moment, but would be in for a nasty surprise before segment was through.
Just before the director said action, Owen poured a bottle of Coca Cola down the back of Michael Cole's trousers. It was too late to do anything about it so Cole just turned to camera and started broadcasting. What a pro!
