10 Greatest Powerbomb Variations In WWE History

7. The Shield's Triple Powerbomb

For 18 months, the Shield ran roughshod over the WWE, becoming one of the greatest factions in company history along the way. One of the main reasons for that notoriety was the use of their patented team-finish€”the Triple Powerbomb. First showcased during the trio€™s Survivor Series debut, the move saw Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins lift their opponent onto Roman Reigns€™ shoulders, before all three men would drive the victim down to the floor. Extra gimmicks were added to the mix, such as Reigns€™ intimidating battle cry which signalled the move€™s imminence, as well as the frequent incorporation of a table for good measure. It all added up to a formidable team-move, and one that claimed some of the most prestigious of victims during the relatively brief period in which it was used; including the Rock, John Cena and the Undertaker, to name a few. Had the triumvirate stayed together, that list of victims would surely have grown and the faction would surely have featured highly on this list. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgKUy2WAfSM
