10 Greatest Ring Of Honor Matches Ever

9. Low Ki Vs. KENTA (Final Battle 2005)

Japanese star KENTA was a perfect fit for Ring Of Honor. The diminutive Low Ki didn't get far in WWE or TNA beyond momentary flourishes, but excelled whenever booked by ROH. Their main event match at Final Battle 2005 must be considered a modern-day classic.

At the time, KENTA was the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Champion, a title promoted by Pro Wrestling Noah in Japan. Defending the championship on U.S soil against Low Ki, big things were expected. As it turned out, the pair had enviable levels of chemistry and it was something that really aided the match.

There's an insane pace developed early, and the finishing sequence is wonderfully slick. The only thing letting the side down (and the only reason this match falls so early on this list) is that other matches ROH promoted arguably had more of an aura to them.

However, as a standalone match, this is one well-worth seeking out. At the time, Low Ki promised to go much higher on the wrestling food chain, but he can still be proud of this bout.
