10 Greatest WrestleMania Venues Ever

6. Ford Field (WrestleMania 23)

For the first time since 1992, WWE had cracked 80,000 fans for one show, fitting a record crowd into the Detroit Lions' home for what turned out to be a really good WrestleMania. If most of them were on hand to see Donald Trump get his head shaved, they were bound to leave wildly disappointed. What made Ford Field such a nice venue was its throwback darkness. While every WWE show from the late-nineties onward is so well lit that it can trigger epileptic fits, it was nice to see Ford Field dim the lights a bit more. That's a paradox for ya: borderline fight club-style lighting, but in front of what stands today as WWE's fourth-largest crowd ever.
