10 Greatest WrestleMania Venues Ever

5. Caesars Palace (WrestleMania 9)

Few people would deny that WrestleMania 9 is one of the worst, if not the absolute worst, WrestleManias of all time. Even though those same detractors would lament the fact that poor Jim Ross had to make his WWE debut in a toga, the entire 'toga party' theme actually gave WrestleMania 9 a festive atmosphere. The opening ceremony, complete with a miniature parade of Roman guards, elephants, camels, and scantily-clad dancers, at least gave the show a commanding opening, one that certainly wasn't lived up to. WrestleMania 9 also gets points for being the first entirely-outdoor WrestleMania, something that augmented the Coliseum theme. In fact, the entire Roman motif, venue included, pretty much saved the show from being a complete wash.
