10 Greatest WrestleMania Venues Ever

4. The Astrodome (WrestleMania X7)

WWE's first domed WrestleMania in nine years provided a grand locale for the coda of the Attitude Era. When most older fans tuned in that night, the sheer size of the crowd probably startled them, having forgotten that WWE made stadium shows an occasional stop during the glory days of blue ringside mats. WrestleMania X7 made stadiums a priority once more for WrestleMania, save for the three year stretch from 2004-06. While nothing about X7 looks particularly different from many modern WrestleManias, outside of the blue and yellow color scheme, it remains endearing as the WrestleMania that brought back lost grandeur. Or maybe it's the rewatchability of the greatest WrestleMania ever that makes the Astrodome's presence more enjoyable, who's to say?
