10 Greatest Wrestling Brawlers Of All Time

3. The Crusher

The Undertaker Steve Austin
WWE

Sorry Hulkster, but in terms of "who can absorb the most physical punishment before storming back for a victory," your comebacks look weak compared to Crusher Lisowski. And Stone Cold, you owe at least some small debt to him for making the "beer guzzling tough guy" a marketable gimmick.

The Crusher was a legitimate Rocky Balboa type inside the ring, taking brutal amounts of abuse from his opponents while refusing take a loss. That's the trait that eventually made him incredibly over with the crowds, even when he was supposed to be the bad guy.

His hard-drinking ways made it clear to everyone in attendance that he learned how to fight in bars, and the only thing missing from his arsenal was an empty beer bottle.

Though there a few other brawlers that became famous around the same time as Crusher - including his tag team partner, Dick the Bruiser, along with Dick Murdoch and at least a couple other brawlers not named Dick - none of them had quite the same flair for the destruction of limbs as Crusher. He was truly in a league of his own.
