10 Greatest Wrestling Comebacks Ever

1. Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan would have been a contender for the best wrestler of all time even if he'd never been able to return to the ring. His legacy before hanging up the boots spoke for itself, and while he didn't get his prolonged main event run in WWE due to his injuries, he did so much there and in his legendary independent runs that he was going to be the GOAT regardless.

Yet, he wasn't done. After being forced to retire due to head trauma and lesions on his brain, two years of being told he couldn't make it back to the ring and constant adversity on the way, he fought his way into being cleared, declaring on the Smackdown episode of his return "if you fight for your dreams, they will fight for you." It is still my favourite moment in wrestling history.

Bryan came back and showed that he was better than ever, embarking on the best world title reign of the 2010s and having countless masterpieces with Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles and Kofi Kingston. Regardless of how long he has left this time, we are all so glad he made his comeback.
