10 Greatest Wrestling Matches Of Scott Hall's Career

2. Vs. Shawn Michaels - WWF SummerSlam 1995

While their best match might have taken place a year prior, the rematch between Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels was nearly as good as the original. After taking time off in order to return as a babyface, Shawn Michaels recaptured the Intercontinental Championship from Jeff Jarrett and was challenged by The Bad Guy.

This bout played off their previous ladder match perfectly, as many spots, such as Michaels hitting a baseball slide onto a ladder and the iconic splash off the ladder, are reversed by Razor. The ending of the match was set up by a gnarly looking Razor's Edge from the ladder seemingly taking Shawn out of the contest. However, Ramon going for the move again would be The Bad Guy's downfall as he was flung out of the ring, allowing The Heartbreak Kid to climb the ladder and retain his championship.

A stark contrast from their first match, this time both Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon were fan favorites. This meant that following the ending of the match, Razor presented The Showstopper with his championship and the real life friends hugged in the middle of the ring. For most wrestlers, a match of this quality would be the best of their career, but for Chico, that would come a little over a year prior.
