In 1994, following the successful launch of Monday Night Raw, Vince McMahon created his newest wrestling show, Action Zone. Needing to draw as many eyes to his newest program, Vinny Mac booked the first two episodes to be main evented by a WWF Championship and Tag Team Championship match, respectively.
On that second episode, the team of Razor Ramon and foe-turned-ally the 1-2-3 Kid challenged Shawn Michaels and Diesel for their titles.
