10 Greatest WWE Ad-Libs Of All Time

3. Randy Orton Goes Off On A Fan

Randy Orton has a reputation among some fans for being €˜zombie-like€™. What this means is, he walks in a sort of mechanical way, he has few really unique facial expressions, and his voice is kind of monotone and void of emotion. In other words, he€™s not the kind of person who€™d be able to put on a charismatic and emotional promo on a weekly basis. Of course, leave it to a WWE Superstar to take a stereotyping of their character and turn it on its head: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8_nAIeeb4k In that video, we see a different, more €˜alive€™ version of Randy Orton. Some fan must€™ve thought that Orton would get disqualified for hitting Bryan with a kendo stick, and in response, Orton went off on that fan, mocking their lack of intelligence and suggesting €˜you did this€™ as he gives Bryan a Back Suplex onto the announcer€™s table. Also, the way he just says €œYou€ while pointing to the fan in question is equally funny. This is one of those unscripted moments that show that a wrestler can be much funnier when they€™re not limited by a script. Orton was just being himself in this video, and it worked out well for him. He had a great heel moment while mocking the fans, and did a great job in working the crowd, especially by insinuating that the fans were responsible for him hurting Daniel Bryan. So while this moment isn€™t as popular as Orton€™s €˜RKO out of nowhere€™ videos taking the internet by storm, it€™s still one of those random ad-libs that prove Orton can be funny when he wants to be, and it€™s still one of his greatest unscripted moments.
