You'd think it would be fairly difficult to strike up a solid bromance with a guy you blasted in the head with a chair over and over again in front of his crying children, but professional wrestling is no ordinary world and Mick Foley is no ordinary man. With their legendary rivalry behind them, Mankind decided to try and convince The Rock that the time was right for a partnership between the two.

Rocky took some convincing but he eventually relented, and one of the most beloved bromances in WWE history was on. To begin with it didn't feel as though Dwayne was fully on board, but Foley worked hard at the relationship and it became the stuff of legend. If you don't work, you don't get.

Dwayne Johnson has gone on to become the highest paid actor in Hollywood almost purely off of bromance-based films, but it is his relationship with a deranged guy with a sock down his joggers that warms the hears of wrestling fans.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
