10 Greatest WWE Character Vignettes Ever

5. Steven Regal: Such A Man

Rather than simply import him as the ruffle-shirted aristocrat he'd been in WCW, the WWE brain trust decided to capitalize on Steven (later William) Regal's reputation as a real life tough guy. They filmed skits in which the former patrician did such stereotypically manly things as squeeze his own orange juice by hand, wear a truly tasteful hardhat/denim cutoffs combo, and set out into the forest with an ax with a look of determination in his eye that wouldn't look out of place on Captain Ahab.

The greatest of these, however, was the one that focused on the timeless masculine ritual of facial depilation. Regal shaves in the woods, damn it, and he wouldn't be caught dead with some effeminate five-blade contraption, at least not according to the too-excited Lord Alfred Hayes soundalike narrating the video. Sure, straight razors are okay, but if Regal were a real Real Man's Man he'd shave with a smooth rock a la Sgt. Weenie Arms from Cow and Chicken.
