For the three years that Fully Loaded was part of WWE's lineup, the show always delivered.

The 1999 event was an instant classic thanks primarily to two legendary Attitude Era rivalries.

The first was the conclusion to the near two-year long rivalry that existed between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mr. McMahon in the First Blood, End Of An Era Match pitting Austin vs. The Undertaker. With Austin successfully retaining the WWF Championship, it signaled the end of the Austin/McMahon (and Austin/Undertaker) rivalry for the time being.

For the second year in a row, Fully Loaded's penultimate match was The Rock vs. Triple H, this time in a Strap Match. Whereas the previous year's encounter concluded in a draw leading to their epic SummerSlam Ladder Match, Fully Loaded '99 saw The Game victorious to become the #1 contender for the WWF Championship.

Adding to the night's historic feel, four titles changed hands including Jeff Jarrett's record-setting fifth reign as Intercontinental Champion, and the rights to D-Generation X were on the line when Road Dogg & X-Pac defeated Billy Gunn & Chyna.

As it often was, Fully Loaded was so good that it probably should've been the card for that year's SummerSlam.
