Celebrity involvement in WWE these days is invariably met by complaints from the online wrestling community - but perhaps that's because we're forever holding these segments up to the standard of Mike Tyson's January 1998 confrontation with Stone Cold.

Here, Iron Mike was introduced to the crowd by Vince McMahon as the "baddest man on the planet", a claim which angered a watching Steve Austin, who proceeded to join them both in the ring to explain exactly where he felt the chairman of the board had been mistaken.

The ensuing melee, a "less is more" approach to in-ring brawls, was brilliantly done. The Texas Rattlesnake flipped off his WrestleMania XIV enforcer, who responded with a hard shove in the chest. That was all we got: no Stunners, no right hooks.

And yet it goes down as one of the most memorable moments in Raw history simply because of the feeling with which it left fans watching both in the arena and at home. You knew you had just witnessed a genuinely historic WWE moment of the kind that only comes around once in a lifetime.
