Rarely does wrestling follow the 'less-is-more' ethos, but in their marketing of 2013's Royal Rumble, the company wisely decided to focus solely on The Rock's first WWE Title match in eleven years instead of the Battle Royal itself.

Having first announced that he would be the Rumble's number one contender back in July 2012, The Rock disappeared for a number of months to allow anticipation to build between him and likely opponent CM Punk, who was quickly forging a legacy of his own as the longest reigning WWE Champion in nearly twenty years.

The poster succinctly conveyed how huge the occasion was, with the ominous inclusion of 'The Great One's catchphrase, "Finally... ," deftly placed to represent the wait fans had endured for a Rock title opportunity and his clash with 'The Best in the World'.
