10 Greatest WWE SmackDown Endings

6. TLC 3 - 24 May 2001

Often referred to as "The Lost TLC", TLC 3 was the first and, as yet, only TLC match in SmackDown history. Taking place just two months after the legendary bout at WrestleMania X-Seven, the third installment raised the stakes of its predecessors, this time by adding WWF Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit to the mix.

Having won the titles from Steve Austin and Triple H just days earlier - in the infamous bout where 'The Game' notoriously tore his quad - Vince McMahon looked to punish the new champions by stacking the deck against the Canadians. He did just that by booking them against three teams of TLC experts - The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz, and Edge & Christian.

Each man was in the prime of their careers - Jericho and Benoit especially - and the older champions more than held their own against their younger competition. With over 20 minutes of action, the four-way tag war saw some typically insane spots from the participants and the match certainly lived up to the hype.

With numerous table bumps, several ladder spots and enough chair shots to leave you concussed just watching it, the match was a veritable highlight reel from the opening bell. Naturally, the crowd was electric throughout and the ending was equally spectacular.
