10 Greatest WWE Tag Teams Of The Past 10 Years

9. John Morrison & The Miz

Miz John Morrison

Take one Jim Morrison impersonator and a loudmouth reality TV star, put them together, sit bac,k and wait to see them fail. That must have been the thinking backstage when WWE pushed John Morrison and The Miz together in late-2007. To everyone's surprise though, Morrison and Miz caught fire.

Playing off of one another incredibly well, the team were hilarious during episodes of the WWE.com 'Dirt Sheet' show. They'd even win a Slammy for the comedic skits and another for 'Tag-Team Of The Year' in 2008. WWE's recognition of the pair was down to hard work and a determination from both to prove they could be more than another low-level team.

By the time the pair split in 2009, both were ready to have a crack at success as singles stars. Teaming together helped Miz and Morrison find their confidence on the microphone, and that may never have happened had they not grabbed the chance to film as much .com content as they could.
