Almost everybody groaned when it was revealed The Big Show would replace Edge as Chris Jericho's new tag-team partner in 2009. How on earth could the lumbering giant slot in alongside Y2J and put on matches of the same quality as Edge? That was missing the point, because Show and Jericho formed a very different unit to the one originally planned for the Canadians.

Show and Jericho were only together for the second half of '09, and yet they had amazing chemistry with one another. Show was the destroyer, the big bully Y2J could hide behind. Meanwhile, Jericho was the most vocal of the team and played up the idea that he had the largest tag partner in WWE, the modern day Andre the Giant.

Somehow, it worked, and the pair even headlined TLC 2009 against D-Generation X in a match that's often forgotten when fans discuss the best TLC bouts in WWE history. If you haven't, go back and watch that one for an example of what Jeri-Show were all about.

Jericho can make anything work.
