Admittedly, the fact Paul Wight has been referred to as 500lbs practically his entire career sounds like a work. It's an impressive-sounding number, and rolls off the tongue of ring announcers nicely when they're also reminding everyone that he "stands 7 feet tall". Here's the thing...

Wight stopped working out so hard and began eating a lot of fast food during the early portion of his WWF career after signing in 1999. He was told to trim down in 2000, and ended up attending weight loss clinics on the company's dime. Eventually, WWE decided to just embrace Show's lifestyle and make the best of things.

To his credit, Show has slimmed down to take stress off his back and legs since, but he'll be a big boy forever. That's a result of the acromegaly he's lived with since birth - the condition causes accelerated growth, and is commonly linked to severe joint pain.
