10 Hidden Meanings Behind WWE Survivor Series 2019 Attire

7. Little Red Ricochet Hood

From one Joker to another - sort of.

As part of WWE's harebrained scheme to represent the already amazing Ricochet as a 'real-life' superhero, the high-flyer rocked up at SummerSlam clad head to toe in the cool blue pleather of Gotham vigilante Nightwing.

Obviously, blue just wouldn't do for Raw's Ricochet at Survivor Series, so the apparently anthropomorphised panel-pummeler rather cleverly turned up in Chicago as Dick Grayson's successor: the crimson masked Red Hood.

For those who don't know their comic book lore, Red Hood isn't a little girl with a penchant for chopping wolves, but the alias of Jason Todd, who died, came back to life, and was so annoyed he put on a red suit. In a different chronology, the Joker has also assumed the mantle (nod to our resident sequential art expert Zoë Miskelly for this extra info - check her stuff out, it's great).

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
