10 Hidden Times WWE Stars Broke Character

8. Triple H Drops The Act

Back in 2014, Triple H snarkily mocked certain sections of the WWE fanbase in a promo that later came back to haunt him as ratings plunged lower than ever in the final years of Vince McMahon's tenure with the company. But it was while still portraying The Authority boss that he abandoned the bit entirely to tend to a crying child sick of their domination.

Much of the usual made up the January 19th 2015 Monday Night Raw, with Seth Rollins, Kane and The Big Show booked to take on John Cena in a handicap match, but something out-of-the-ordinary occurred on the arena floor. 'The Game' spotted a sad young fan tearing up at ringside thanks to the actions of his cronies.

In a post-show scene captured by another fan near the incident, Hunter appeared to reassure the child that all would be well, and various in-arena sources suggested the child was invited backstage as an added bonus after the show.

Real heat doused, then, but at least some tears were being wiped away in the process.
