10 Hidden Times WWE Stars Broke Character

4. Steve Austin's 2001 Post-Show Pops

Stone Cold Steve Austin

As revealed in all their glory on WWE's lost classic "WHAT?" DVD release from early 2002, Stone Cold Steve Austin was a man who liked being on last so much in 2001 that he never really wanted the night to end.

A montage featuring his banter with audience members following yet another televised main event was a riot. 'The Rattlesnake' had a bit in which he'd take the microphone out to the audience, ask them a detail about their lives such as name or job, then exclaim "If there's ONE THING I CAN'T STAND" and apply it to the fact he'd learned.

This promised magic in the building every time, but it was particularly fantastic when he used against his own brother, and when he completely corpsed at the prospect of using the line on an affable lady who worked for a Christian book publisher. All facade dropped, Austin burst out laughing and remained that way all the way up the ramp and through the curtain.
