10 Hidden Wrestling Jokes Everybody Missed

7. Taz Gets The Shovel Out

You must have missed this because apparently nobody watches AEW Dark, which therefore doesn't count.

The supplementary B show broadcast for free to, potentially, absolutely anybody on the entire planet with a half-decent internet connection free of government censorship is too niche, too hidden, to inform AEW storylines. Yes, AEW could better integrate the results and the pushes that ultimately exist to inform the next set of TV-level title contenders, but it's not as if the bloody thing is locked behind a paywall or is unlisted or anything.

Regardless, the discourse rages on, which means that nobody caught a tremendously acerbic rib aimed at Triple H.

Back in November of 2020, old Dark regular Ryzin faced Frankie Kazarian. Taz was bemused the poor guy's name, and, in one of his utterly delightful non-sequiturs, he opined "You know what his first name should be? Terra" before talking himself down by explaining "Nah, that'd be the sh*ts".

Triple H went by 'Terra Ryzing' for a brief time, and perhaps it was harsh of Taz to poke fun at a more naive of Trips' WWE career.

It's not as of Terra Ryzing worked more bland matches than any major star ever or wrestled to a minimal reaction at several WrestleManias.

Erm.
