10 Hidden Wrestling Jokes Everybody Missed

3. Jerry Lawler Is Low-Key Disgusting

As opposed to high-key disgusting, which is his usual form.

Jerry Lawler wasn't known for subtle comedy. He played the obnoxious, braying jackass to splendid effect in the early 1990s by dusting off volumes of joke books to point out how old and decrepit Bret Hart's parents were. As the end of the decade neared, Lawler also wasn't subtle about expressing his desire to have full sex with or at the very least motorboat the various women in his immediate vicinity.

"Puppies!" he liked to scream, very loudly.

When calling a 2009 segment with Mae Young involved, he remarked to Michael Cole that "old chicken makes good soup", to which Cole stifled a grunt-laugh. For those unaware, this was a reference to the older lady having the necessary experience to give a partner a good time - but coming out of Lawler's mouth, the connection between soup and what he was actually referring to was particularly evocative. Sloshy.

You somehow missed this three times; both Booker T (Smackdown in 2012) and Vince McMahon (SummerSlam 2007) said the exact same thing.

Dirty awld f*ckers.
