SummerSlam 1990 was by no means a good show. The Warrior-Rude steel cage main event was a downgrade from their 1989 match, yet it was still the second best match of this card.

The Demos-Harts Tag Team Title match was far and away the best match of the night, and was an exercise in overcoming odds dramatically.

The two-out-of-three falls match saw Demolition resort to cheating (using 'third man' Ax to run interference) when the Harts began turning the tide, only for the Legion of Doom to come out and expose the chicanery. This was back in the days when distraction finishes weren't beaten into the earth's core, mind you.

The Harts pulled off the victory during the confusion, and the Philadelphia crowd lost their minds.
