10 Highly Underrated WWE Wrestler Themes
7. Say It To My Face - Alex Riley
Oh, Alex Riley, what could have been.
As The Miz's sidekick during his WWE Championship, everyone was waiting for A-Ry to break out and embark on a big, star-making feud with The A-Lister. Sadly, this never happened.
Whilst Riley had a decent singles run for a while - including an appearance in the SmackDown Money in the Bank match in 2011 and a victory over Miz after their split - the steam quickly ran out for Riley and he eventually found himself relegated to the role of colour commentator on Main Event of all places.
A short run in NXT came to an end when Riley was released by WWE in 2016. Fans were sad to see him go, but many more were sad that we'd never hear "Say It To My Face" again.
A great mix of rock guitars and a string section, "Say It To My Face" had a great opening that exploded into life with the opening lyrics. It was the music of a star and worked perfectly for both Riley's face and heel characters.
Good news is so few people remember Alex Riley that WWE could just recycle this theme for somebody else and nobody would know. Good news for everyone except Riley, that is.
