Although his role is quite foggy at the moment, he's pretty much only ever been associated with being a general manager (unless you remember the Rodney Mack days. No? Me either). So being general manager, Teddy Long is bound to make a couple of promos (most of which feature his aforementioned affection for tag team matches). He's made the occasional slip up, like introducing John Cena as a "two time WWE champion and a ten time... WWE champion". You could hear the embarrassment in his voice. Or, as the above clip shows, just completely fluffing his lines. Teddy Long is generally uncomfortable and painfully wooden doing anything outside of his wheelhouse (and that is setting up a tag team match).
