10 HUGE AEW Double Or Nothing 2021 Predictions You Need To Know

1. Stadium Stampede: The Pinnacle vs. The Inner Circle

AEW Double Or Nothing 2021 Stadium Stampede The Pinnacle Inner Circle
AEW

The great hope with AEW's second Stadium Stampede match is that The Inner Circle and Pinnacle will shed the original's comedic stylings, opting instead for a more serious, focused bout.

Anything else would do this feud a disservice. These stables fought for their lives and Blood & Guts, which was presented as the career-shortening war of attrition it needed to be and this, their second big match together, needs to be an escalation of that. Retreating to golf cart chases and jacuzzi transformations would be a de-escalation worthy of criticism.

So to would 50/50-ing the feud.

This is a Loser Leaves Town adjacent stipulation, with The Inner Circle forced to split in the event of a loss. Years of the other big American wrestling company wearing such stips out by immediately going back to them have created an understandable cynicism. In 2021, most fans see a "losers must split up" match and automatically assume either that they're winning, or that they're going back together.

Trusting the process is hard with this one, as the sudden tonal shift from Blood & Guts to the bubbly bath eroded said trust. These guys are great, and they'll do great work, but everything has to go right here.

Winners: The Pinnacle
