10 HUGE AEW Double Or Nothing 2021 Predictions You Need To Know

2. World Title: Kenny Omega (c) vs. PAC vs. Orange Cassidy

AEW Double Or Nothing 2021 PAC Kenny Omega Orange Cassidy
AEW

That PAC has felt like a third wheel in a Kenny Omega vs. Orange Cassidy feud needs to be addressed on the go-home show, either through The Bastard directly addressing this on a promo or by establishing him as an equal focus in an angle. He's one of the best wrestlers in the world, a menace, and a guy who has had excellent matches with both opponents. There's little justification for his diminished role heading into this.

If this feels like a filler defence for Omega before he launches into his next big singles feud, Hangman Page or otherwise, that's because it is. Nonetheless, it's as good as filler defences get. Cassidy will never unite every wrestling fan or critic with his style, but he'll be over as hell in that packed building, perhaps commanding a bigger reaction than anyone else on the card. PAC has great chemistry with him and Omega and is more of a shades-of-grey character than either, bridging the gap between d*ckhead champion and laconic hero.

The Belt Collector has ground together before dropping even one of his straps. The AEW World Title should be the last one to fall, so unless he somehow drops the AAA, IMPACT, and TNA straps between now and Sunday, PAC and Cassidy are out of luck.

Winner: Kenny Omega
