10 Huge AEW Double Or Nothing 2023 Predictions You Need To Know

2. Blackpool Combat Club Vs. The Elite

Double Or Nothing Jeff Jarrett
AEW

On the go-home edition of AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley put his four year's worth of character equity on the line to express just how incredible - and incredibly violent - Anarchy In The Arena was going to be.

It was bold, but pointed. Last year's inaugural edition of the match was one of the finest brawls in the genre's history, culminating with the intoxicating visual of a blood-soaked Eddie Kingston returning with a gas can when shoot murder felt like the only option. It set a lofty standard, and Moxley was as good as promised to meet it.

He stands a great chance thanks to the man around and against him. Only fools would bet against The Elite in creative circumstances such as these - they've done even more with even less in the past, and there are multiple examples of them working electrifying hardcore arena-wide brawls in AEW let alone in their careers beforehand. It's impossible to dive into the minds of the top-tier talents when given a blank canvas such as this, so predicting spots feels more flippant than foreshadowing. but the result itself can be pondered. Do the BCC win and throw The Elite into renewed disarray so soon after their reunion?

Or sometimes, is it just nice for AEW EVPs to finish the story?
