10 Huge AEW Double Or Nothing 2023 Predictions You Need To Know

1. MJF (c) Vs. Sammy Guevara Vs. "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry Vs. Darby Allin

Double Or Nothing Jeff Jarrett
AEW

There's no talking around it - the "Four Pillars" of All Elite Wrestling simply haven't felt like that for the bulk of this story.

MJF has shown exactly why he was the one to reach the summit first, and shown it over and over again, but at various points, all three challengers have stumbled as they've attempted to join him at the top of the mountain.

Darby Allin spoke so confidently in the early and latter stages of a wonky build that he raised flags that the whole thing should have just been a singles match, but his character went off the rails during a mid-story mini-tournament and has only now worked its way back on track. Jungle Boy and Sammy Guevara have lost and gained followings respectively during the same timeframe, but having to see Jack Perry received as a heel and 'The Spanish God' reverting to ill-fitting babyface as the drama's unfolded feels like risky business for both.

It's also been slightly undermined by a whispered and knowing predictability too. The story might be setting the Champion up to fail but absolutely nobody believes he will.

On plenty of evidence, nor should he.

Winner - MJF
