10 HUGE AEW Double Or Nothing Predictions You Need To Know

5. The Young Bucks Vs. The Lucha Bros

AEW Double Or Nothing
AEW

Global tag team wrestling has missed The Young Bucks, whose AEW involvement necessitated an unwelcome hiatus following the best in-ring year of their careers.

Matt and Nick Jackson were sublime in 2018. Those 12 months felt like a middle finger to anyone who'd ever doubted them, with a long, cohesive story based on Matt selling his increasingly injured back reaping benefits all the way from January to December. It was tremendous stuff, and reaffirmed the Bucks' position as the world's pre-eminent tag team long after making anyone who has ever called them no-selling spot monkeys look clueless.

March's Rey De Reyes event saw the Bucks take Pentagon and Fenix's AAA Tag Team Titles just minutes after they'd captured them. This'll be their first defence, and with the Lucha Brothers attacking the Jacksons during the Las Vegas rally (and the Bucks reciprocating at an AAW event a few weeks later), there's plenty of heat.

This should be the night's most giffable match. Expect breathless mayhem, non-stop action, and a measure of in-ring revenge for Fenix and Penta, who'll likely face the Bucks again before 2019's end.

Winners: The Lucha Bros.
