6. TNT Title: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Darby Allin

Click here for a full, in-depth breakdown of why Darby Allin should unseat Cody Rhodes at All Out.

The go-home episode of Dynamite framed Cody as the guy to root against. 'The American Nightmare' took the microphone as the show ended, talking down to a man he knew couldn't respond by taking credit for him getting signed in the promotion, then asserting that Allin wasn't ace material. Such arrogance frequently bleeds into Cody's work and it is now established well enough for AEW to use it as something Darby can take advantage of the bout, perhaps even triggering his victory.

Allin came closer than ever to defeating Cody in their last bout, losing only because the more experienced wrestler had the presence of mind to slide Darby's shoulders to the mat after a Coffin Drop. Logically, it's time for the next step. He will be presented as a smarter, more refined performer who has learned something from each of his battles with 'The American Nightmare', culminating in a title win and the next step on the long road to becoming a major star.

Winner: Darby Allin
